We finally heard from our Mortgage Broker and we have all the paper work ready and we're ready to close - but the Underwriters made a mistake on the document wording, so we have to wait until Thursday morning. Thankfully it was just a wording error and not a "sorry, you can't buy the house" error! :) So, we've been a little tense around here the past couple of days while waiting to find out if we were still going to get to close before I left for Louisiana. All of that is to say, NO, we haven't figured out the couch moving thing yet, nor have we bought a washer/dryer. We wanted to wait on the washer/dryer until we knew when we were moving, so we could use the moving truck to pick up the washer/dryer. I've just put the couch on the back burner for now - just haven't had time to think about it. Another idea we had was to look into a moving company in which you share a truck with other families - and you only pay for the space you're using. Haven't done any research on this, only know

How is the moving going?  We are so excited for you all.  Your first home is so fun.  Did you figure out how to get the coach?  Also did you get a washer and dryer we have a set that we are not using if you wanted to use for a year.  The only thing is our dryer just started making a terrible squeaking noise so we would want to get it checked out first.  Let us know what you think.

It is very cool that you have a Steve and Barry's in Charlotte. I was browsing their site a few weeks ago looking at Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten line. So cute and so cheap! I was practically drooling.

It was really fun. I played women's doubles and we won - 6-3/64!!!! I served well and actually played pretty good. I was a little nervous and determined to do well - so that probably had a lot to do with it. One of the ladies there also told me about this other thing I could join - the Charlotte Tennis Association - Ladder Challenge. It is where you just sign up for singles, doubles, or mixed doubles. They send you a complete list of everyone who signed up in your level and then you just contact people to play matches. You set them for whenever you want to play - and you play as much or as little as you want. Then you go online and enter in the scores from your matches and move up or down the "ladder" based on how many matches you play, score, etc. So, I think I'm going to do that too! All said - I'm really excited about it!
